While the 390 Duke was launched almost a couple of months ago, the deliveries of the KTM flagship are yet to commence. The domestic deliveries of the second model in the KTM Duke line up in India would commence only towards the end of next month.

“KTM 390 Duke bike domestic delivery will begin from the last week of September,” said Bajaj Auto vice president Amit Nandi in an interaction with media persons. The KTM 390 Duke carries a price tag of approx INR 1.80 lakhs and as per the auto maker, has already garnered above 1500 bookings. “So far the company has received 1,500 bookings since its launch,” Nandi added.

The much hyped 375cc variant of the KTM Duke has thrown opened doors to a totally new segment of the 250-400cc performance bike market in India.

It has emerged that Pune based Indian bike manufacturer Bajaj Auto has managed to garner as many as 1500 bookings within 2 months of launching the 390 Duke.
