Audi will launch the Q3 S SUV in India on August 19. The Q3 S is basically a base version of the Q3- the smallest SUV in the Audi lineup which also includes the Q7 and the Q5 SUVs.

The upcoming Q3 S is rumoured to pack a diesel engine and is likely to debut on the 19th of August. Audi India which has marked a growth of 21 percent during the first half of 2013 recently launched its S6 and RS 5 Coupe in India. The company also reviewed the prices of its SUVs in the domestic market after the annual budget. It said that the prices of all its India-bound models will be increased by 2-3 percent to counter the fall of the rupee in the global market.

Expect Audi to price the Audi Q3 S near the Rs. 25 lakh mark which will pit it squarely against the likes of the Mercedes A and B-Class and the upcoming BMW 1-series which will hit our shores on September 3
