Sony has announced the CP-V3 USB portable charger at Rs, 1,590 for the Indian market.
The portable charger comes with a battery which has a capacity of 2800mAh and features a 1.5A output and the company claims that it can ensure fast recharge for smartphones & tablets on the go. The weight of this portable charger is 84 gms and it comes with dimensions 99x38.8x19mm.
The CP-V3 portable charger comes with a micro-USB lead to charge mobile devices such as Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry smartphones. It can be full charged in approximately 3.5 hours via the USB port on a computer or an AC adaptor. The CP-V3 USB portable charger has Sony's Lithium-ion polymer technology, which the company claims that it can retain more than 90 percent of its initial capacity at 1,000 charges.
The Sony CP-V3 USB portable charger comes in five colour variants - Black, Blue, Purple, Red, and White.

That's why power banks are so essential as these can charge the devices anywhere and anytime. Currently power banks are available for as cheap as Rs 500.
