The HCL Me Champ tablet has been unveiled by its maker and this kids-focused device can be bought in India in exchange of Rs 7,999. Aimed at children below 3 to 12 years of age, it was earlier also spotted online before HCL could reveal it officially.

This slate has been loaded with ‘infotainment content,’ and features children’s videos, comics, games, music and more. Additionally, it has even been blessed with pre-loaded exercises for art, geography, history, language and mathematics. HCL has disclosed that the Me Champ comes with free access to over 500 apps under categories like games, books and education.
As part of its security features, the tablet kicks in tracking functions and a control mechanism which allows parents to monitor their kids’ activities. There are two modes which can be accessed through this Android slate, with one of them being a Parent mode and the other one of course, the Kids Mode. While the former enables each and every function of the device, the latter can be customized to restrict certain content.
