We’ve been following rumors of the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat for more than 3 months now, and here comes another twist in the skeptical announcement to be done by Google and LG.
Rumours suggest that Google and LG are likely to announce the Nexus 5 on November 5th in Tel-Aviv, Israel. According to an Israeli website gadgety.co.il, Ronlight Digital, a distributor of LG products in the country has sent invites for a media event held on November 5 in Tel-Aviv. The invite shows a smartphone stuffed with KitKat chocolates so what we can expect from the event.
Earlier, the Nexus 5 was rumored to arrive on October 31 in the
United States through the Google Play store, alongside Android 4.4
KitKat. However, October has come to an end, and the chance to see the
new Nexus smartphone and Google mobile OS are very less, and the debut
seems impossible. Lately, it’s being claimed that Google and LG have rescheduled the launch event sometime in November as South Korean giant wanted to launch its first curved smartphone G Flex in early November with Android 4.4 KitKat.
Besides, Google updated a total of 12 apps on Tuesday, which suggests that the impending Android 4.4 KitKat is coming soon because the search giant usually updates its official apps for services to illustrate new interface of the platform, or to ensure compatibility with the OS. Yesterday, Google rolled out updates for 12 apps that include Blogger, Calendar, Chrome, Drive, Earth, Gmail, Goggles, Google+, Hangouts, Keep, Play Magazine, and Translate.
