Sony Xperia i1 aka Honami has been leaked. For sometime around, we have been listening to the rumors about Sony’s fresh Android phone, the Xperia Honami. It is expected to be a camera-centric phone that will fight with the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Zoom and Nokia Lumia 1020. New round of rumors confirms that the projected device is to mount a 20.7MP rear camera.
In fact, through many leaks, we heard to almost all the specs of the device. It was also in rumors that the gadget would feature a 20.7MP rear camera that can compete with the 41MP PureView camera of the Lumia 1020 and 16MP rear camera of the Galaxy S4 Zoom. Now the report from a source called EXIF has confirmed its camera sensor.

“The EXIF also confirms a resolution of 5248 x 3936 pixels, which is approximately 20.7 megapixels, again matching previous rumors,” GSMArena says. The snapper features a standard 4:3 aspect ratio and an aperture of f/2.0 for better quality pics and video.
The Honami is expected for official release on Sept. 4 in Berlin. Sony is likely to release the device just ahead of the IFA 2013. Still the company hasn’t confirmed the report. Regarding other specs, the Honami is said to be just like an Xperia Z apart from its camera aspects.
Sony is now one of the world’s leading Android phone maker. To rival with the likes of Samsung and HTC, the Japan tech maker has started to produce a lineup of quality and exciting gadgets. The Honami will now be yet another outstanding addition to its line of Android phones.
