Nokia reportedly is planning to launch the first HD 1080p Windows Phone device, Nokia Bandit. Details about the so-called Nokia Bandit, which we will assume is a working title, have leaked to The Verge, which reports that the phablet device is likely to debut before the year is out.
It won't be just an average Windows Phone 8 device though, as the website reported that the Nokia Bandit will be the first HD 1080p Windows Phone device and will have a quad-core processor.

Till now there is no more information about the Nokia Bandit.
Of course before the handset arrives Microsoft will first have to add support for HD 1080p displays to its Windows Phone mobile operating system, along with functionality needed for quad-core processors. If rumours are to believed, this update will be released in the coming months, and will also add features such as rotation lock, Driving Mode and a number of user interface enhancements.
The Verge added that "the Bandit will be the first of many planned 1080p Windows Phone devices", hinting that other phone makers like HTC and Samsung plan to put out similar devices once Microsoft updates its mobile operating system.
Besides its HD 1080p display and quad-core processor, the Nokia Bandit reportedly will carry the Finnish phone firm's Pureview brand, sporting a 20MP rear-facing camera. This apparently will add a "slight hump" to the rear of the device, but The Verge added that the handset will be thin and lightweight, and constructed entirely from polycarbonate plastic. No further specs have yet been revealed.
Expected release ?
The Nokia Bandit is "being tested at AT&T" and likely will make its debut sometime in the next couple of months.
