Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with the HTC Sense 5 topping has been unleashed in the form of an over-the-air update for the HTC One X. The update brings some sweet features to One X owners like the BlinkFeed homescreen, which has been present on all recent high-end smartphones of the Taiwanese.

Not only Android 4.2.2, HTC also promised that One X users will soon be receiving an update to the latest version of HTC’s Android skin, Sense 5. HTC announced back in February that the Sense 5 update will make its way to the One X.  Some rumors suggested that the update would come by July. The month is already over and there is no word yet from HTC.

According to ClubSFR, it seems that the Android 4.2.2 update for HTC One X will be delayed further, at least on SFR. The delay seems to have been caused by a software problem. Although there is not much information regarding the kind of issue, the software has been sent back to HTC and they are working on developing a new version of the update.
